My Friend.

I met Andy many years ago. If I remember rightly I was introduced to him on the end of his fist about 20 years ago, (That was some punch). Though I never lived in the area he'll always call his home, I saw him on a regular basis through his school years and into his adulthood. We got up to some right mischief. He's the kind of friend that everyone who knows him would want. He stood up for other peoples rights, as well as his own. He's the kind of guy you want standing next to you just to say 'This is my mate'. A great father to Caitlan & Connor, he would enjoy great parties with the two of them, his family and friends. He would box with Connor and, it always made me smile, would tickle the hell of Caitlan. Though I didn't spend a great deal of time near him due to other commitments, the memory of the time I did spend with him I will cherish. He was one of the few companions that I can truly call 'friend'. Andy's passing was sudden, and certainly unexpected. I am glad that I knew Andy. Glad of the times he defended me, stood by me and spoke out for me. I will miss him and always love him. We will all meet him again soon in our short lives. REST IN PEACE MY BROTHER. xxx
